If you believe what they say.
If they are indeed emitting RF, to make you feel better, it has to emit a wave 180 degrees out of phase for where you are sitting at the same strength. If it doesn't do this, you wind up with more RF instead of less.
If these units do emit RF based upon what is programmed into them, there is no guaranty the RF generated is the exact frequency of what is in your room.
