I use the wire in versions as a part of a larger filter design. In the main system / studio, I have two installed. One is wired directly into the HTPC power cord, and the other is wired into the plasma display power cord. I tweaked both filters with 3 Bybee large Quantum Purifiers on the primary side, and a Hammond choke on the secondary side of the filter. I also use a shakti Stone and couple pairs of On lines to filter both cables. The Kleen Line Lab Grade filter does a couple nice things for the upper bass and lower midrange. The upper mids are smoother with better top end extension.
In my other systems I use a 20A lab grade power strip on a couple of the computers and my daughters stereo system (daddy's hand me downs...EAD TheaterMaster, EAD TheaterVision, and EAD PowerMaster 1000). I did tweak the power strip on the stereo with a new a/c plug, a pair of Quantum Cable Disrupters, and a small Quantum Disrupter over the power cord inlet. The tweaks offered a really nice upgrade in performance and noise suppression.
