Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

Having built several of Al Sekela's recommended plug-in R-C filters after receiving a good deal of help from Al (Thank you!), I can say that they make a definite improvement in the sound from my system. It is much more "natural" and relaxed. The question I have now is, would it be even better to build one of these R-C networks between a male 3-prong AC plug and a female 3-prong AC plug, and plug this whole filter unit into the outlet on my line conditioner that feeds my CD player, and plug my CD player's AC cord directly into the filter, or would the result be the same as simply plugging one of these R-C filters into an unused outlet on digital section of my line conditioner?
Thanks so much
Chris
