Use them as much as possible, where possible, where electrolytics are involved. The improvements in delivered sound is pure magic. There isn't a single area in delivered sound that these caps don't improve on. This is also in comparison to well recommended audio grade caps like elnas, nichicons and oscons.Some DIYers just use them in output coupling positions, but when you get to black gate your electrolytic caps all the way back to the power supplies, the gains in sound quality is not incremental, but of a whole new magnitude altogether.
Interestingly, due to their cost, they are best used in decent audio equipment - even super high-end ones, if you have the stomach to mod them.
The only down-side that I have experienced in using BGs, esp. in the super e-cap configuration is the cost and long (be prepared for 1,000 hours!) run-in time. In this regard, try to change as many as you can afford to cut short the run-in pain.
Do yourself a favour and give them a go. I can't recommend them enough.
