Currently I have two different designs. The first design is the transformer / choke method. The choke is wired in parallel on the secondary. Basically wire one choke per duplex outlet. In my set up I have 4 in this application. The second design is a filtered power cord...this design is used for my pro work...sorry guys. I have a future project coming up for the primary side of the transformer...I just ordered a pair of 193M's for the main power cord filter. Stay tuned....If you are looking to use the choke as a parallel plug in...that's a easy set up. Use at least 18ga x 3 power cord (12ga x 3 is better). Keep the power cord as short as possible...less than 3 feet. Wire the hot and neutral to the choke wiring and the earth ground to the choke housing...the choke must be grounded for best effect. The choke runs cold so you do not have to worry about heat build up. It only draws 64mA to 152mA pending line voltage / frequency. The 193L is rated for 300mA. When selecting chokes try to keep the ohm rating as close to the Hz frequency as possible. Only use 300mA or larger chokes for parallel filtering pending your location in the world.
