Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

Was curious...looked up threads, but could only find discussions of placement between monitor and stand...granted, all in all very favorable opinions.Have VS2's...and am curious about upgrading the stock spikes with something other...always thought that compliant material under a floorstanding speaker was a no-no...but these seem like something different...
Currently have the cabs filled with lead shot...and have acoustic room treatments. So, not trying to clear up muddy bass...but rather improve the top end...
Any other suggestions for footers over stock?
Regardless, probably going to try anyway as it's not a major investment...just wondering if anyone had any experiences + or - in this application...
