the temp at 700f because of the size of the pin and pad.this is a loewe tv where i am replacing the flyback xformer that has like 12 pins.
the solder melts right away but doesnt get drawn into the braid at all.
well maybe just a tiny bit but its hardly worth mentioning.
and it doesnt stick to the iron tip either.
it just pushes around.
with the silver solders i use they get drawn into the braid really quickly and densely.
i dont want to have to drill the pins out again like i had to do for replacing the psu caps. :(
