im using a nice hako and have

67.169.169.117

the temp at 700f because of the size of the pin and pad.

this is a loewe tv where i am replacing the flyback xformer that has like 12 pins.

the solder melts right away but doesnt get drawn into the braid at all.

well maybe just a tiny bit but its hardly worth mentioning.

and it doesnt stick to the iron tip either.

it just pushes around.

with the silver solders i use they get drawn into the braid really quickly and densely.

i dont want to have to drill the pins out again like i had to do for replacing the psu caps. :(
