I use the Magic Twins myself. I am a Bastanis dealer so you can take my recommendation with a grain of salt. The most effective use of the Magic Twins is at your DAC or CD player input to your preamp or amp. This is the most prolific source of high frequency artifacts in most systems. Filtering out the "noise" at this point will make everything downstream have an easier job including the speakers. The result will be a smoother more relaxing sound. I do not mean to say that it will roll off the frequency response at all. It will just take out the garbage. It is sort of like reducing jitter if I had to make an audio analogy. Of course, they come with a money back guarantee so you can try them out to see.
