Re: V-Caps and Lector DCP-7

Thanks Duomaike. I have no experience on tweeters or crossover modification with V-caps. But I think this will be a good upgrade. In all my electronic equipment the V-caps have had good results. The most impressive result was on the VAC Auricle Stereo, this amp with the original factory parts was a simply good performer, uncontrolled bass, grain in highs, good midrange, later I get auricaps and dynamicaps for this amp, and I get far better performance, later I try the Teflon V-caps, and wow! This caps get in this amp all the full potential on the design, I have compared this amp to the Aleph 3 (modified with Blackgates) and Aleph J (stock), head to head and the VAC is better performer in several areas, the Pass amps are better in bass, and the J in the highs are delicious. But I thin my VAC is in general terms a better performer.
Good look you too on your DIY proiject!!

Best ragards.
