Re: Opinions: Regenerated Power a good alternative to A Dedicated line?

"Do you think a power regenerator is a good alternative when a dedicated line is impractical?"

Absolutely. A dedicated line will NOT correct for sagging voltages or for dirty/contaminated AC coming in on the line.

A dedicated line offers the advantage of sole delivery of power to your system, in other words, there are no other branches of electrical wiring from the main PD panel to your appointed destination.

The biggest attribute a dedicated line provides is the lack of parasitic resonances from parallel lines off of the same circuit.

An AC regenerator will isolate the line by it's very virtue of regenerating AC power and THEN the system is feeding from that but as has been reported here, even a dedicated AC line feeding an AC regenerator has it's benefits.

Even an AC line balancer transformer will be beneficial when plugged into a multi-branch AC delivery circuit as the source impedence that the components see that are plugged into the AC balancing transformer will much less than if plugged directly into a direct AC line which translates into better component performance.
