I have tried the carbon sleeves with several different speaker cables and interconnects. It seemed to help the ICs more than it did speaker cables. With several of the speaker cables I tried, it reduced the high end noticeably.Tip: The carbon sleeving tends to get dusty and can fray. Spray a light coating of polyurethane on the sleeving to protect it. IMO it makes the sleeving look better as well. The idea was not original. It is posted on the Soller website.
