Ultimately since you hear no music through a super tweeter, I decided it did not matter. But I have noticed that if one is slightly more forward than the other that the imaging is better on that side. This suggests that it does matter.I guess with a scope and a good signal generator that you could get it right, but I merely make certain that the Muratas are equal distance from the side of the speaker and equal distance forward.
If your super tweeters don't come in at as high a frequency as do the Muratas, 15k Hz, you may need to be more careful.
