Couldn't imagine how running an Earth GND. to a wooden cabinet could be of any benefit.
On the other hand, Tannoy has a feature on their upper end model speakers where one can attach a seperate ground to the driver basket of the coaxial drivers via a single binding post on the cabinet rear, and those who have implemented it, claim it does have merit.
