I've just purchased a Solid Tech Reference 4 rack + 2 amp stands and 2 sets of disc of silence. The Ref 4 rack should be delivered by the time I get home from this business trip.

When I talked to the local retailer of the rack, he mentioned that filling ech of the legs with 2/3 full of sand will improve the sound. He also said that feet of silence has better result than the disc of silence. But they sure are expensive! I got my racks, stands, and the discs for a really good price, so I will give those discs a try. I'm also considering trying out some tungsten carbide ball bearings (to replace the steel ones supplied by Solid Tech) to see if there's any noticeable change.
