Hello (John),my power amplifier has a slow blow fuse of 6.3A (220 V). Why should I use thick wiring for its mains cable if there is a limit of 6.3A? Standard cable would probably suffice.
I understand the importance of shielded cables. But I do not see why a wiring able to handle, say 10A, would help with such a limitation on the fuse.
Thanks
Roberto
