Re: More WAF room treatments...

Just a clarification... Because of my speaker set-up in the room, the distributor recommended that I employ two panels in the front AND REAR corners nearest the speakers, and one panel in the front and rear corners farthest away from the speakers.

To get more of a sense of the room, imagine two rectangular rooms, each 13'6" wide X 15' deep right next to each other with a wall in between. (That wall is 15' long.) Visualize the speakers in the room to the right, along the narrow wall.

Now, take that wall down. That's the configuration that prompted the distributor to go with 6 panels. Since the corners in the "empty" room are so much farther away from the speakers, AND are severely compromised by huge entryways into that room, the corner loading is less severe than in the "speaker room."

Does that make sense to you? If it does, do you think I would still benefit from having two panels in each of those far corners?

Thanks. And by the way, please steal that boxing analogy!

Tom
