Hi.Mine is a 1KVA isolation transformer custom-built like a battleship,
with static shield & I paid handsome money for it.But so what? It impairs the sound of my entire gear bigtime.
Eventually I removed it out of my dedicated power lines & have my audio gears hooked up direct to the power line via powerline filters.
The sound comes back up nice, & gratifying.If you can go without any inline AC transformers, try not to use them. Not many inline irons do not impair sound at all.
