The following should only be done by a qualified person...I did the work in several stages to keep my refrigerator from defrosting.
>At each stage the power was safely turned off.
>I started backward from each piece of gear and ending at the
electric meter.
>Through out this whole process each fuse, fuse holder, wire, breaker,
and connection were cleaned and polished with Flitz Metal Polish.>Removed all fuses and replaced with Cryo-Parts glass fuses.
>Replaced three chassis IEC inlets in two power conditioners
and pre-amp with Furutech.>All wires at AC outlets cleaned.
>All wires in breaker panel were cleaned.
>All breakers were cleaned.
>Electric meter was removed and it's connectors were cleaned.
>Note: The only connection I did not clean was the top female
connectors on the electric meter box.(It is always hot)
>All wires and connections between electric meter and breaker panel
were cleaned.
>Please see my link below for details of lots(More than two dozen) of Furutech AC outlets
and Furutech connectors used in each power conditioner and in all my VH Audio power cords.
>All captive power cords have Furutech male plugs installed. The end results were very impressive in both my two systems.
I am glad I took the time and energy to do this project.
