Without even discussing the Merits of "raising' cables.
Suggest you experiment..(one experiment is worth a Thousand opinions :-) Using a few 'glass' water glasses as standoffs under your cables, all of them if you wish, raise the wires well clear of the floor surfaces, whatever they might be. (Glass is an excellent dielectric)
