I have no experience with the Furu plugs, but plenty with P&S, Hubbell, Marinco and even cryoed Wattgate. All sound significantly better than stock plugs in my system. Cannot specify the difference between them, however, as I have not A/B'ed them on the same PC ever. If pressed, I'd give the nod to the Marinco (or the upgraded Marinco, which is Wattgate).When I changed my tweaked P&S outlet for a cryoed Furu Cu, well, that was an eye-opener! So I'm starting to warm up to the idea of swapping in their plugs too.
A lot of folks think the terminations are even more significant than the geometry and the composition of the cable. Can't say that they're not. So try the best you figure you can afford and be prepared to accept some and reject others.
Also, don't expect that they will automatically sound as good in every situation in your system. I'm not at all convinced that it's so...
