I've got a Primaluna Prologue One and just ordered some Mundford silver/oil for the coupling caps. There are two caps connected to the preamp tubes so I was thinking of using teflon V-caps there. Cost is a consideration and since there are only two caps, I can swing it. Has anyone mixed caps with good results or should I just stick with the Mundfords throughout.I'm also assuming that the caps connected to the preamp tubes are more critical to the sound since they're directly in the signal path. Is this correct thinking?
