The bigger the better, no matter the size of the room. Tube traps are intended to trap and dissipate low frequency energy which is a problem in any size room. The bigger the trap, the more effective they are at lower frequencies. The reason people buy the smaller traps is because they don't have room for, or hate the look of, the larger traps.
