Thanks for your input. But im not sure where you got the idea that it wouldnt sound very good for driving subs?? Thats what these amps were made for, the HCCA line was made specifically for driving subs in car audio competitions. Also when you said the power supply wouldnt be very stiff, wont that depend on the power supply I build and the quality/size of the transformer and capacitors?? I am just affraid it will cost me more to build a big enough power supply then it would to just go buy a decent subwoofer amp. What size transformer do you think would be sufficeint?? I have a 250va 12v but I dont think thats gonna be nearly enough to power this amp. Any ideas?
