While there's no reason this won't "work," as in function without blowing up, I doubt that it will sound very good. The power supply probably isn't very stiff, which is especially critical in a sub amp, and the output impedance is probably higher than would be optimal. There also isn't a lot of power there for 4 Ohm speakers.The best amp for bass that I've heard (used and cheap, not new and expensive) is the Bose 1800 or 1801. Sounds horrible full range, great on bass. And they're about $200-$400 bucks at pawn shops or similar. They're 85 pounds so eBay wouldn't be fun.
