Yes, they both have voltage out. The 28 single ended and the 40 push pull....just use the positive output pin on the 40 to get 1 volt RMS....or even more fun....have two sets of outputs...one set coming from positive output and one set coming from negative output...that way you can try phase inverting with discs and see which sounds better...obviously, you have to switch the cables each time.....but it could be fun and their would be no sonic penalty from inverting.
