Re: Diy ground loop isolator for cable box??

The cable is required to be bonded to the electrical ground at the service entrance. It is not a cable problem. The grounded cable may form a ground loop through the chassis of various components, especially if, for example, your power amp ground has a three-pronged plug. Since you'd have to be an idiot to use a cheater here when a $12 cable ground isolator can easily solve the problem and keep everthing safe, that is the way to go. It is not a band-aid. It is a safe solution.
