HowdyI moved my amps from the carpet to 3/4" maple plywood, then added HRS Nimbus Couplers, then borrowed some HRS M3 Isolation Bases and finally got my own granite (http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/tweaks/messages/140421.html)
Each step improved the sound. Better bass control, more detail, perhaps more ease. (Well I just did the last step yesterday so I don't know yet if it is an improvement from the M3s, a lateral step, or a step backwards...)
