I'm using Mundorf Supreme and Silver/Oil in my Tube amp, CDP and Speaker Xover and i am very satisfied with the results. Now, i am planning to upgrade the PSU caps supplying the B+ on my Tube preamp .Comparing the price, a 100uf/500V BG WKZ costs US$77. , while the 100uf/550V M-tube is US$54 !!
I've read Conrad Johnson gears use Film caps on their Power supply .. so i am wodering if it is worth using film caps on the psu. Appreciate any feedbacks/comments on experienced users ..
cheers
