If you want to use cellulose insulation, why not just use it in the trap. It is easy to compress and does not have the problem of spring back that fiberglass has. So it would be alot easier to make.

All you would need to do is make a cylinder, say out of the screening used on doors and windows, and pack it with the cellulose. If you packed it more firmly on the outer perimeter than in the center you would have the benefit of variable density.

All in all, it would be a lot quicker and easier than working with fiberglass. Not to mention cheaper and perhaps even better. Come to think of it, it sounds like such a good idea, I think I will make a some up even though I have a room full of FG traps. There is always room for a better mouse trap.
