Hello my friend:I have the pleausure of being Herbie's customer since long time ago, owning several tube dampers, interconnect dampers and now the Grunge Buster 2007. My experience with the CD/DVD mat in it's original version was good, but this new version performs much better. Now, regarding to your question about the clearence of your draw, I have the Metronome Signature T20 transport which is also draw load, I have no problems, except very ocasionally with some CDs, but other than that it functions o.k.
I plan to order some damping sheets for better control vibration.
