my experience was that he wasn't much of a talker on the phone. I asked him to do it, but he pretty much dismissed it, saying something along the lines of it not being necessary. Like so many other tweaks, it seems ridiculous until you hear the sonic benefits, so it can be difficult convincing someone who knows so much more about this stuff to do something like that that they don't really believe in (yet). Although the lights are a visual nuisance, I can easily cover them, and I'm more interested in the sonic benefits. Hell, the thing's already gotta be the uggliest piece of s@#t in all of audiophilia, but that's not why I bought it : )I guess I'll just have to get in there and take care of it myself....
