Isolation Transformer Sizing Question

Hey Guys

I live in an apartment in NYC and the power is, not surprisingly, awful.

I'd like to pick up a big isolation transformer to run my entire system off of. My system is on a 15amp line, which should theoretically support 1,800 volts. Giving some headroom, I would think that a 2,500 volt transformer should be sufficient.

Is this reasonable?

Thanks,
Jim
