Go for it!!! I am playing around with that very same idea using 100va Medical Grade Isolation Transformers on my smaller components. I wired the transformer into a small hobby box and ran a 6" pigtail out for the component. The result is fantastic!!! It works great mixed with the choke tweak.Regards
