ugly, like the competition. I have a feeling that Brian is using a preservative in his formulation, although he is very tight lipped in disclosing what IS used, which I completely understand. He has the reference conductive paste available. I can understand why he wouldn't want to disclose ingredients to his competitors.
I just checked the power cord connection to our bedroom DVD player, which was one of the first locations I tried the original QS, and it wasn't goopy or a sticky mess like Mapleshade's paste does over time. It wasn't dry and brittle, either.
While I have a little knowledge of Chemistry, I will not try to second guess what he is using or doing. In closing, whatever Brian is doing works and it stands the test of time. (My first hand experience). :)
Seasons Greetings to all!
