So far it seems that everyone has ordered the WPC only with Oyaide outlets. No one I know has tried it with other brands, but I would venture that the benefits would be similar. However, Duster's recommendation for the stainless cover is excellent, and could be implemented first to address some of the resonance control issues that the WPC was specifically designed for. It's less pricey and worth a try.
