the dedicated line to the amp in my main system goes from the breaker to within 6' of amp + is soldered direrctly to a diy pc, which is in turn hardwired to the amp + no fuse.theory: last 6' is most crucial
aamof, all of my signal lines + speaker cables are hardwired + no fuses in any of my gear.btw, I do trip the ciruit breakers every time I leave the house [religiously]...I take no chances.
