Hi Ryan,7805?
The material is 7075, a common type of "aircraft" aluminum (alloy?). Actually, the machinist who made them for me got the aluminum on my request. He also made me a set in 6061 but I slightly prefer the 7075. He got it in 2" pipes and cut the 1/2" slices from it to make the Hip Joints.The 1/2" Chrome steel (or Tungsten Carbide) balls were purchased from www.smallparts.com.
