I need to order capacitors to do Bobwire's mods on the 709. Bobwire doesn't have specific capacitor recommendations. Others have recommended Panasonic HFQ series caps from Digikey. Any other thoughts? For the 0.1uF bypass caps should I use something different?
I've got the iron hot and the wick ready. Wish me luck, friends.
