Mike I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but its happy pop's day and I spent the day with the kids.Try two things. First step down to 18ga. lamp cord. Next don't use so many loops. In both of my designs (18ga. and 16ga.) I use 4 loops layer on top of one another. Now once you have it plugged in adjust the tension of the loops. Using the AQ Stopper in this design layout the frequency is very audible in the 1KHz range. This is usually good guide to smooth out and blend the effectiveness better with your system.
