Hi all.I need recommendations for a router and bits.
I know everybody has their preferences, can you guys share your experiences with different brands? Also what should I pick up by way of bits, ..roundover,..trim..etc.?
Do i need a 1/4 or 1/2 collet...plunge, variable speed. I dont want to spend more than I should, but I dont want to cheap out either.I see that sears has a sale this weekend on Rotozips. Im not familiar with this tool but it seems light and handy. Also do I need a separate trim router for veneer? Im pretty comfortable with handheld powertools, but Ive never used finishing tools before.
As always, of course,
your comments are much appreciated.Oh yea, also, can I just use screws or finish nails to hold the box while the glue dries or do I need to buy clamps (ouch)?
Am I forgeting anything?
