Breakers are probably better sounding than fuses which are pretty bad. On my Maggie 1.6 I have the fuses jumpered with 6 filaments of CAT 5. The sound is unbelievably improved. I tried many different wire types including silver to jumper the fuses, 6 filaments of CAT 5 was by far the best. I will be rewiring the Maggies with CAT 5 when I change the caps to Hovland and the inductor to Alpha Core.Happy tweaking
