Just received the Auric Illuminator this weekend and tried it on some of my cd's. It definitely makes a difference. Major improvement is in the low level information which the cd player can retrive. On sound stage and treble/midrange clarity I did not hear much improvement, but its there.
I applied only on the playback side, and that where it makes a difference.
