On your Dynaco PAS, I assume. If you haven't upgraded the filiment supply, that should be the first place to start. Two new 1N4007s to replace that old silicon rectifier and two new capacitors. 22000 uf @ 25 volts or higher. The flaking on your tube may just be from heat. I don't use 6DJ8s so don't know. jim......
