Being fairly new to the tube addiction, I didn't consider that burn-in might be a factor in the tubes' output. After a few hours, the amp biases over the normal range.
But, the SOUND, the SOUND! I've run Svetlanas, Groove Tubes, Chinese and others EL34's, and I've never heard such a stunning improvement in sound stage, detail retrieval and clarity. Even the difference between KR, TJ mesh plate and WE 300B's isn't nearly as dramatic.Regards,
