Hi,
I wish to replace the tubes in my melos 333.They currently have stock Chinese 6dj8's {I'm a tube newbie}Soooo what do you think.There is currently available Amprex BB's 40.00 a pair,Tungsram 70.00 a pair, NOS E88CC/6922 Philips tubes 35.00 a pair or I maybe able to get some Amprex orange globe for 60.00 a pair {and now I read about Ei elites for 20.00!}
My speakers are GR Research Parabox 3's and the really don't need a tube that is at all bright.
I sure appreciate the help as I really can't try a bunch of diffrent ones {because of cost}.
