Hi again,Most worn tubes tests fine again if one overheat them 10%, and 10% overheateing the heater winding shall take without problem.
So if you have a couple of "braggy" fellows who just use the top of the crop tubes, and replace tham when worn. Then take care of their used tubes and build yourself a smallish 10% overheated amp (7V insted of 6.3V aso) and enjoy snobbish hifi on a shoestring :-)mvh /Pär
