Par, I did something I have not done for three years last night and relaced the 12AX7's in the power amp with these little beauties and I noticed a marked improvement even on the improvement I had from putting them into the preamp. I put Jim Reeves on and sat back and listened to one of my favourite songs on and I swear I could hear backgroung voices I had never heard. Maybe I was listening a little harder but it sure was nice. Maybe the AX7's in the amp were tired as the unit was made in 1978 and I do not know how long they were in it so possibly putting any 12AX7's in might have made a difference. I will play around with them a little more and post the results when done. Thanks for the feedback.
