I've been doing a lot of reading on entry level tube amps and I think I'm ready to take the dive. I'm trying to decide between the AES AE-25 SuperAmp, the ASL 1003DT, and the ASL1001DT. I'm looking for input from owners and enthusiasts that have experience with these amps.
The amp will be used for a small listening station in my study while reading and relaxing. It will be used for mainly modern jazz, classical, and some new age listening. I haven't purchased speakers yet but I'm planning on getting some inexpensive montiors such at Adire, Jamo, Boston Acoustics, or Monitor Audio. Probably something under $700 retail.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
