[My opinion] The SBE 715P or 716P mate better with older units. The Jensen oil-filled works well with these units.It's like older units with NOS tubes "like" older NOS type caps and resistors.
All my amps get Orange Drops, ATOM electrolytics, or the real NOS Spragues and Mallories. Carbon comp resistors. And a nice slow forming job. And despite what other folks say, they last and have that vintage tone.
