Hi,When I first bought my 99 magnum preamp and magnum M-120's, I hooked up everything red to red, black to black, etc.. I thought everything sounded pretty good. I kept busy switching between tetrode and triode modes. I like triode mode better, and now use it exclusively. Then one day, I started to reread my owners manuals and studied the passage regarding polarity. Was I doing something? Let me reverse the speaker connections at the amp. Holy cow !!! There is no going back. Everything just snapped into focus. I could close my eyes and point to the instruments and voices. Everything had more depth also. Now, a greater percentage of my cd sound incredible as opposed to alright before.
